Patricia Earnhardt is a multimedia visual artist working primarily with video and installation art. Her work focuses on social and political issues as well as personal internal struggles. She is also Partner in Earnhardt Films, which she co-founded in 1993, with husband, David Earnhardt.
From 2009 to 2013, she participated as an artist-in-residence and a volunteer at gallery F. in Nashville, Tennessee where she contributed to the operation of the gallery by co-curating exhibits, planning workshops and art performances and writing grants. She also produced short documentaries to accompany exhibits.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Film and Television Production from Middle Tennessee State University, she worked for 16 years in this field before returning to school to take what she thought would be a few art classes. While continuing to work full time and raise a family, she persisted in her studies, ultimately graduating after 12 years with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Watkins College of Art & Design in 2008.
